Anissa Lee is a Los Angeles native Tap Dancer, Performer, Instructor, and Fashion Designer. She can be seen in the Coca-Cola "It's Beautiful" commercial that premiered during Super Bowl XLVIII.  Anissa is one of Chloé's Syncopated Ladies - A Female Tap Dance Band whose recent video BEYONCÉ TAP SALUTE went viral after receiving the endorsement by Beyoncé herself, "They Killed It!" (www.syncopatedladies.com).


Anissa trained under the late Arlene Kennedy and Paul Kennedy and was a member of the Jazz Tap Ensemble/Caravan Project and Steve Zee’s L.A. Iron Works. Currently she is a member of Sarah Reich and The Tap Music Project and has performed with the company at the Dorthoy Chandlier Pavillion for the 54th Annual LA County Holiday Celebration, The Choreographers Carnival, Blue Whale, and Typhoon to name a few. Some of her other performance credits include Debbie Allen’s production

of "Alex in Wonderland", performing with Latin Pop Star Sensation Christian Castro at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, "TAP HEAT" at The Grove, Vancouver Tap Festival, DC Tap Festival, LA Tap Festival, and press release events for the 2006 Academy Award Winner Film of the Year, "Happy Feet". 

 

Anissa received the prestigious Gregory Hines Tap Scholarship Award in 2007 for her recognized effort and dedication to Tap dancing, and soon after traveled by request to Amsterdam, Holland to work with Lucia Marthas Dans Academie Instructor, Marike Hetjes on a current running Happy Feet reproduction.

 

Now an Alumni of Alexander Hamilton High School Music Academy Magnet, and OTIS College of Art and Design, Anissa hopes to combine her love and passion of Tap dancing with Fashion to create the ultimate experience for the arts.
