Tap dancing is magic! Gene Kelly, the Nicolas Brothers, Jimmy Slyde, and other master tap dancers of the art form, shared one common thread: they found the magic in the art form of tap dance!

The House Of Tap Experience is the brainchild of internationally renowned artist Joseph Monroe Webb, seeking to “create an experience where tap dancers can be empowered, inspired, and walk away with information that can assist the next generation of tap dance performing artists." Joseph Webb’s personal style not only encompasses footwork, but story telling through movement in the entire body. Joseph Webb’s background includes Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, and various urban styles, which is present in his House of Tap pre-professional youth company and his professional performing arts company, “Dancing Buddhas.” Under his direction, the House of Tap experience hopes to encourage students to explore tap dance fully, joyfully, and to find their own magic in the dance.

We guarantee that you will not find this experience anywhere else in the world! Each course is thoughtfully designed and original. Classes are available for aspiring tap dancers and of course our teachers, studio owners, and parents (PMA, also known as Parent Magic Association ;) Our official launch will take place in the DC MD VA area for National Tap Dance Day! Join us in uniting students from around the country for this incredible experience…the magic of the dance!
